Transnational sharing of experience on "Integration and intercultural dialogue" among participants from Governmental-Organisations and Non-Governmental-Organisations
"Integration of people with foreign citizenship” and "Intercultural dialogue” are challenging issues for all European countries. Due to differing circumstances in member states one can find diverse perceptions and approaches. For a detailed definition of multiple measures local organisations and protagonists, either from public administration as well as from Non-Governmental-Organisations respectively the cooperation between those, are needed.
By selecting comparable European cities we create a forum of dialogue across borders that utilises the already existing networks (for instance the registered twin cities of Graz) and expands them.
Practitioners (both representatives of Governmental-Organisations as of Non-Governmental-Organisations) from the following cities/countries are invited:
Graz/Austria Darmstadt/Germany
Middlesbrough/UK Ljubljana/Slovenia
Pécs/Hungary Triest/Italy
Sofia/Bulgaria Bukarest/Romania
Kosice/Slovakia
The Congress will be located in the City Hall of Graz.
This project is co-financed by the European Integration Funds, the Ministry of Interior Austria, the Government of Styria and the City of Graz.
